Intentional Spaces
"Alex among the Lilliputians" by Eric Rennie My photograh above is one of 34 images selected by arts organization director Laura Moya for a juried competition called "Intentional Spaces" at the Photoplace Gallery in Middlebry, Vermont. The show runs from June 20, 2019 through July 13, 2019. The charming little subject of this photograph is my then five-year-old granddaughter Alex, who was on an expedition to the Kid City Museum in Middletown, CT. According to the gallery's call for entries, "Intentional Spaces is an exhibition that examines how people arrange spaces with purpose, and examines how these spaces evoke an emotional response with the viewer." The look on Alex's face tells the whole story. This image was previously exhibited at the A Smith Gallery in Johnson City, Texas and at the Darkroom Gallery in Essex Junction, Vermont.
